Jeffrey M. Pietrzyk, O.D.
Dr. Jeffrey M. Pietrzyk was born and raised in the south suburbs of Chicago. He studied at -Loyola University of Chicago and earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry where he received multiple awards for academic achievement. In 2001, he completed a post-graduate optometric residency program in ocular disease management at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida.
Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Pietrzyk accepted a position with a large co-management center in Louisville, KY. This experience prepared him to handle challenging and unusual ocular diseases as well as surgical pre- and post-operative cases. While in Kentucky, he served as adjunct faculty for the training of future optometrists. Dr. Pietrzyk has lectured extensively to various groups, including his peers in the Kentucky Optometric Association. He is currently a member of the Illinois Optometric Association.
